Golden Martenitsa for "Victory"
President Rumen Radev presented the "Golden Martenitsa" award for long-term presence on the Bulgarian market and the introduction of new quality products to the confectionery manufacturer "Pobeda" JSC. The company is the big winner in the 24th edition of the awards, organized by the "Made in Bulgaria - Union of Small and Medium Businesses" association.
The solemn ceremony took place on March 1, in the presence of the president and vice president of the Republic of Bulgaria, representatives of the people, politicians, public figures and business representatives. " Our future depends on what, how much and with what quality we produce in Bulgaria ," President Rumen Radev said in his speech to the guests of the event. The head of state expressed his conviction that the processes of reducing the administrative burden, restoring trust in institutions, predictability of the business environment and more legality are irreversible and will help the initiative move forward.
"It is good to have such awards in the economy, because it is a sign for a company that the efforts it makes are appreciated by colleagues and the community" were the words of Mr. Mihail Choroleev, Executive Director of "Pobeda" JSC.
A total of four prizes and one certificate of honor were officially presented at the Golden March 2018 Awards. The awards are given annually to organizations, companies and individuals with a contribution to the development of Bulgarian business. Inspired by the unique Bulgarian custom, the golden martenitsa is a symbolic gesture with a wish for success, well-being and health. The awards are made at the BNB Mint from silver and gold and are accompanied by a certificate of honor.
The winner of this year's edition of the "Golden March" awards - "Pobeda" JSC is among the leaders in the production of sugar products in the country. The company was founded in 1929 in the city of Burgas and over the years has successfully combined traditionalism and innovation.
