Revival houses of biscuits and wafers
The Union of Architects in Bulgaria organized an Architectural Workshop for children on the eve of International Children's Day . The event was held in Sofia and involved dozens of children in a serious task - to build their own Revival houses made of biscuits, wafers and pralines. The delightful task was part of the educational idea of the organizers to familiarize children with historical facts related to the Revival period, including history, architecture, ornaments and characters, etc.
The small architects unleashed their imagination, building beautiful and delicious houses for hours. Pobeda JSC provided the building materials in various shapes and colours, such as wafers, coated and non-coated biscuits, pralines etc.
At the end of the event The Bulgarian History Association gave the children a historical booklet to bring home the knowledge gained during this exciting and tasty holiday.
