Banana biscuit cake
Necessary products
380 g. Biscuits for a cake
For the cream:
2 bananas
800 ml. milk
200 g of sugar
60 g corn starch
vanilla
2 tbsp. butter
For decoration:
1 banana
100 g of dark chocolate
60 ml. cream
100 g butter
10 g gelatin
100 ml. fruit juice
Preparation method
First we prepare the cream. Cut the bananas into small pieces. In 200 ml. dissolve the starch from the milk and mix well.
Put 600 ml in a saucepan. milk, sugar and already chopped bananas and let it boil. Add the starch dissolved in milk and stir until the cream thickens. Before removing the pot from the heat, add 2 tbsp. butter, stir and let the cream rest.
In a form with a removable bottom (recommended with a diameter of 22 cm), we begin to arrange biscuits and cream until the ingredients are used up. Finish with a final layer of cream, cover the cake with cling film and leave in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours.
We use bananas and chocolate for decoration. Put the cream, dark chocolate and butter in a small saucepan. Heat on a stove and melt the ingredients until a liquid cream is obtained.
We put 10 g of gelatin in 20 ml of water and let it swell. Melt the gelatin in a water bath and add it to 100 ml. fruit juice. Spread the prepared mixture over the bananas for decoration.
Remove the cooled cake from the refrigerator and decorate with bananas and melted chocolate.
